S.T.E.

(Structure and Transport Engineering)
A design company established in Rome in 1980 by a group of engineers with many years of experience in the free profession, oriented and matured in the field of infrastructure and civil works design.

Areas of expertise

The area of services that STE produces is very broad

from feasibility studies to environmental impact studies, from research in the field of road safety (crash-testing) to what is then the main activity, i.e. design in the field of road, structural and civil transport.

The company has always distinguished itself for the high quality and technological level of the services it produces; an example of this is in the field of road safety alone.

equipment

To optimise and improve the design and research work phases, the company in recent years has equipped itself with electronic instrumentation and sophisticated calculation and design programmes to the point where almost all operations are automated and interactive.

Of particular interest is the possibility of simulating the insertion of road infrastructure into the landscape in order to carry out the environmental check and also simulate the journey of the planned infrastructure

Gender equality policy

PdR 125

S.T.E. S.r.l. recognises the need to bridge the gender gap, which, according to the latest 2021 report by the World Economic Forum (WEF), has not been overcome by any country in the world.

In particular, in Italy, the labor market is negatively affected by the low female employment rate, even though, according to consolidated data, women are better educated than men, despite still being a minority in scientific, technological, mathematical, and engineering courses of study.
